Astonished faces among the Waterproof R&D staff when presented their most challenging task ever.
Mission Impossible was to over-ride the stunning and world most awarded current suit line, the existing 20th Anniversary Waterproof collection. And in addition create something that was by far opportune in the market, a fully dressed-up Front Zip Suit.
The faces hardened, the doors banged locked and when finally opened, the new born W1 was awarded with the most prestigious design award in the world, the Red Dot Design Award. And this as “Best of the Best 2009” in the category Product Design.

The new W1 with highly quality unique functions and ergonomic design convinced the international jury.

So, pared with earlier winners like Nike, Apple, Adidas and Lamborghini we at Waterproof kind of feel we did it again, created yet another winner!
