Scuba diving - Philippines.

Our beach resort here in the Philippines has existed longer than air travel. Even before the El Galleon resort was established and people flew here it was frequented by Philippinos and they called it Paradise.

We only have two seasons. The Wet Season and the Dry Season, but since the majority of rain falls at night, diving in the Philippines is an all year round experience and rates in hotels tend to be lower in the Wet Season.

Estimates as to the number of islands making up the Philippines vary but are usually quoted in the range of 12,000 to 20,000. Our scuba diving resort is on the tip of Oriental Mindoro, some 60 miles south of Manila.

A gentle current between the mainland and Oriental Mindoro bring a high quantity of nutrition to the marine life here and since it is now a fish reserve the scuba diving can only be described as amazing.

Like to be scuba diving in water that is always between 25C and 27C ? Then come to the El Galleon dive resort. for scuba diving as you'd like it to be.

Like to scuba in water where the normal visibility is around 40 yards ?  Then come to El Galleon and live in quiet but inexpensive luxury when you aren't scuba diving.

Scuba diving in the Philippines.

It would be fair to say that scuba diving almost anywhere in the Philippines is good but here in Puerto Galera you will find more varieties of fish than in the Red Sea and more varieties of coral then even boasted by the Great Barrier Reef.
