The Puerto Galera museum is very small, 5m by 5m not much more. The museum is run by the national museum and is from time to time closed for whatever reason. You'll find relics from the Spanish days as well as some very interesting relics from a Chinese trader (1600's or so) that struck a rock at the entrance of the Manila Channel, and then sunk. If you're in Puerto Galera town it's well worth stopping by. You can find the museum inside the church grounds close to the town pier. |
