The iDAP College PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor Program consists of 6 components:
The
iDAP College Open Water Scuba Instructor Program is Go Pro
II of the iDAP College Dive to Success Career Training Curriculum.
Ideally you should start your IDC
Preparation now. The program begins with the optional
but highly desirable IDC
Pre-Study and Preparation Workshop. Preparation is the
key to success at the IDC and IE. Preparing for a diving career
is a considerable investment of time and commitment. The right
preparation significantly reduces your IDC course load and
allows you more time to assimilate and apply the information
you learn. To be sure we offer this unique free workshop to
all our AI, IDC and OWSI candidates to make sure that you
ARE prepared before we start. The PADI
Instructor Development Course (IDC) is split into two
parts: The PADI Assistant Instructor
(AI) course and the PADI
Open Water Scuba Instructor (OWSI) program. These can
be done separately or together as one unit. You must successfully
complete the AI before going on to the OWSI program.
We run the Emergency
First Responder Instructor course half way in between
the AI course and OWSI program to break up the two and give
you a change of pace in the middle. This is an optional program
but is basically essential for any Professional Scuba Instructor.
The PADI Asia Pacific office in Sydney, Australia
runs the PADI Instructor Examination
six times a year here in Puerto Galera this year.
The optional Instructor
Internship is free to all our graduates of the IE and will
give you valuable hands on experience working alongside our
very experienced team of Instructors. If you are looking for
a job then this will definitely sets you on
the right path.
This program can be entered at any level provided you meet the entry requirements. After successful completion of the PADI Instructor Examination (IE), PADI will award candidates the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor certification.
In order to get the most out of your IDC you need to be well prepared and ideally should start your preparation now.
