GENERAL INFORMATION

When you choose iDAP College as your Career Training facility, you have the flexibility to select the type of housing arrangements you prefer. You are not forced to sleep in bunk beds and share crowded living quarters with other students. You may decide that you would like a twin share or even a private room. Or to make it a bit more cost effective if you are staying for some time you may wish to rent a room with a kitchen and full facilities.

If you choose our very special iDAP Instructor Package you will be staying twin share*** (Share with another candidate) in a Budget Room at El Galleon Beach Resort. You are quite welcome to upgrade to single occupancy, or even a better quality room or private studio located in the Annex. You will also get breakfast and lunches included which are very healthy and filling, good divers food! Dinner is not included as you may wish to sample any one of the simple or fine restaurants located within easy walking distance.

For your convenience, we have included information and rates for accommodation facilities. They are conveniently located and where most of your iDAP College classmates will choose to stay as well. This creates an ideal atmosphere for group study and teamwork, but still provides for privacy when you choose. Naturally our candidates receive special rates and privileges when staying with El Galleon such as package rates on rooms, free Internet access using the guest computer during your program.

***Roommates are paired on a first come basis. We cannot guarantee we will be able to pair all requests but will make every effort. If we are unable to pair you with a roommate, you will be responsible for a single room rate.

iDAP College conducts all programs with Asia Divers PADI 5 Star Career Development Center conveniently located in the beautiful tropical setting of El Galleon Beach Resort , Small Lalaguna, Puerto Galera on the island of Mindoro just 3 or 4 hours south of the capital, Manila, Philippines. Your stay with us with be truly relaxing and convenient during your training with only a few steps either way to the classroom, pool, dive center or open water training site.

El Galleon cottages afford the peace and tranquility of private rooms nestled amongst palm trees with the crystal clear waters of the Verde Island Passage only a stones throw away.

The swimming pool is located beside the restaurant and cottages and can even be viewed from many of the rooms. Game Section – a great time to relax and enjoy with our billiard table beside the restaurant while spending your time waiting for your food or enjoying a game with your newly made friends. The El Galleon Restaurant has been an old time favorite with many people over the years bringing a number of spectacular delicacies and old time favorites.

Walking between Sabang and Small Lalaguna beaches, you can't fail to miss The Point. In fact, many visitors to Puerto Galera once they've found The Point find it hard to escape.
