Most visitors are granted a 21-days visitor visa upon arrival in the Philippines. If you plan to stay longer than 21 days we will recommend that you obtain a tourist visa via your local Philippine Embassy PRIOR to entering the Philippines. This will save you both time and money later. Please check with your travel agent or local Philippine Embassy if unsure.

To start studying you should have at the very least your own personal copy of all your manuals from Open water to Divemaster including the Encyclopedia of Recreational Diving (paper or digital), Diving Knowledge Workbook, RDP and eRDPML. There are other PADI materials that you will need to reference also. Our document on How to Prepare for the IDC fully explains what you need to have access to. You are required by standards to have in your possession, a personal set of materials (as listed in our Pre IDC Check List) for study and use during the course and for reference afterward. (All PADI materials are available from us, at Member Prices).
-
You will be required to have your own current 2010 Instructor manual which can be downloaded from the PADI Pro site if you are a current PADI member plus and IDC Pak.
- Please complete the 2 knowledge reviews from the Enriched Air Specialty Manual.
-
It is highly recommended that you purchase a PADI Knowledge Workbook and answer all the questions. This is the absolute best way to prepare for the IE Dive Theory Exam.
-
Make sure that all your equipment is complete and in good working order.
-
Try to go out with an Instructor as his/her assistant as often as possible.
-
RELAX! And look forward for an enjoyable IDC as a well-prepared candidate.
