Introduction to Instruction or Instructor Internship is another unique module that gives inexperienced instructors the chance to work along side a team of Master Scuba Diver Trainer, IDC Staff Instructors and Master Instructor and team teach throughout any PADI program (subject to courses running) with a real class of students. It Includes:
Thorough briefings and debriefings
A chance to give classroom, pool and open water sessions to real students under supervision
Planning and scheduling an instructional day
Covers the full range of dive center activities from guiding, through Bubblemaker and Discover Scuba Diving all the way up to Divemaster training (dependant on current courses)
NO fees but also no commission or salary earned and no certifications earned. FREE very valuable experience.
You can start the day after your IE as an Instructional Assistant and when confidant and your paperwork is processed may independently conduct modules of any course.
Duration - One month
No. of Open Water and Confined Water Dives will vary depending on numbers and type of courses.
