The course consists of an informative video and short knowledge development session followed by in-water practice: weight positioning, streamlining, visualization and fine-tuning as well as the use of PADI's “Basic Weighting Guidelines”. A great opportunity to polish and enhance your buoyancy control abilities beyond the Open Water Diver level, buoyancy checks and games to make sure you can become neutral at any point during a dive. A great way to get back in to diving or just fine tune your in water position.
This is a very practical course for diving professionals to be able to demonstrate excellent personal buoyancy skills while diving and protect the aquatic environment as well as being able to pass on those skills to students and divers alike. It is one of the many skills that may be included during Open Water Teaching Evaluations at the IE and so all-intending dive professionals need to be proficient in these skills.
