Kenneth actually took his first breath underwater over 20 years ago in Fort Lauderdale, USA. It was fascination and love at first breath. Kenneth decided to follow his passion and in 1994, made diving a career by becoming a DM and started to work full time around the world. He took his Instructor rating in 1998 and during his earlier diving career lived and worked in Thailand, Malaysia, Canary Islands, Greece, Egypt and Mexico.

After obtaining Course Director status in 2004 at PADI Headquarters in California, Kenneth moved to Japan in 2005 and worked for Yokohama Country & Athletic Club as Pool and Watersports Manager. In Japan he also founded his own company – Tokyo Dive Academy and from this platform forged links with Embassies and International Schools to provide CPR and First Aid education together with Diving courses at various levels for the expatriate community.

Kenneth has also been fortunate to dive some of the world's best dive sites in his spare time and these have included Galapagos, Cocos Islands, Palau, Fiji, Tahiti, Maldives and Sipadan Island.

Kenneth is currently Manager of iDAP College at Asia Divers in the Philippines. Aside from being passionate about diving Kenneth enjoys good food and cooking, reading, walking, underwater photography and travel. His home is still in Tokyo where he lives with his long time partner Ali and their two beautiful cats!

Allan, originally from Australia, spent several years in Hong Kong in the construction business before discovering Puerto Galera in 1985. The founding partner of Asia Divers, El Galleon Beach Resort and iDAP College. Allan has one son Arthur. Allan's other interests include Ultra-Light aircraft and golf.

Allison Manis

Allison who escaped the icy cold Canadian waters has been in the Philippines for 10 years. Originally an art director/graphic designer in Toronto she moved to Manila and worked for the Canadian Embassy before heading to Puerto Galera. She's been with Asia Divers for seven years and exhibits great patience in her teaching - she specializes in the kids diving programs. Recently completed her IDC Staff Instructor training with iDAP College.

Peter Eaton

Pete was born in the north of England. A Mechanical Engineer by trade he has tried his hand at a wide variety of jobs including Market Trading and Plant Operating. He worked in South Africa and Hong Kong before arriving in the Philippines in 1995. Pete arrived as many do in Puerto Galera and the Philippines on holiday and just hasn't left. He now has a wife Rose and son Kurt. Pete likes meeting new people and can be found in the Point Bar most evenings. Recently completed his IDC Staff Instructor training with iDAP College.

Andy is the other founding partner of Asia Divers. A veteran of the aeronautical industry in Oman, Andy first visited Puerto Galera in 1982. Andy keeps himself busy with the dirty side of the business: compressors, generators and equipment maintenance. Andy walked 520 km. around the island of Mindoro mid 2000 to raise money for charity.

Dave was born in London at a very young age and became curious about diving while working as a commercial fisherman out of Queensland, Australia. With a Geology degree from Leeds University, he's been in Puerto Galera since 1991. In December 1995 Dave was part of the first ever IANTD Instructor program run in the Philippines and is now a busy Trimix Instructor, Rebreather Instructor and IANTD Instructor Trainer. His relaxed temperament and attention to safety and detail make him one of the top Tech Instructors in Asia today. Dave is locally married to Dhelia with two youngsters Annalyn and Jeff.

Sam comes from Brighton, UK and worked as a Stonemason in the UK then for ten years in Australia. After arriving in Puerto Galera in 1998 he completed his IDC with Asia Divers and has worked here ever since. Now mostly working with Dave Ross at Tech Asia he can still occasionally be sighted at the Point Bar. Sam is married to Diza and has a cheeky little daughter named Kathy.
