The water here at our resort has a standard underwater visibility of 25 - 30 yards.

There is a very special ocean current running right past our resort called the Verde Island Passage. This current starts way out in the Pacific and brings vast volumes of pure water which is highly oxygenated and laden with nutrients. It is this current which explains why there are more varieties of fish species here than in the entire Red Sea. Then there is the fact that we have more varieties of soft and hard corals than you can find in the Great Barrier Reef.
