There are many reasons why people chose to have their holidays in the Philippines, but here are just a few. |
We have just two seasons wet and dry. The Dry season begins in late October and continues until about April. The Wet season though is very kind to us. A little like Camelot the vast majority of the rainfall is late at night, so our holiday resort thrives all year round.
Our water is a constant 25 - 27C right down to 50 meters and the underwater visibility, whilst it can vary, is usually in the range of 30 - 40 meters.
Undoubtedly one of the main reasons so many people have holidays in the Philippines is cost. This is a reflection of the average weekly wage here and is the reason your spending money is likely to buy you a lot more than it would in the Caribbean or Red sea resorts.

Both Asia Divers and El Galleon were established over twenty years ago, because the Philippines government created a protected fish reserve all round our resort.
We are not just PADI certified, but we are actually one of only two Philippines diving schools in the Philippines who can train to Instructor level.
