Nestled among tropical palms and right at the beach, this really is one of the jewels in the Philippines crown.
Established for more than twenty years the El Galleon is in the middle of a fish reserve and we can boast more varieties of fish than the Red Sea and a greater variety of corals than even the Great Barrier Reef.
Normally wet suits are worn not for reasons of keeping warm but rather to see we don't get scratched by the corals. The water temperature is almost a warm bath with temperatures of a constant 25C to 27C right down to 30+ meters.
Like to be in water where you can see further than an arms length? Then come to El Galleon where the standard visibility is around 30 to 40 meters.
It is no coincidence that a recent survey found that once someone has dived in the Philippines he or she will return on average ten times.

There are many, many things you can find to do here other than dive. Yes you can relax in the shade or the sun by our pool and yes the point bar here is renowned throughout the Philippines. Additionally though there is great hiking, or you could play golf, go sailing. Take a 5 minute stroll along the beach into the small town of Sabang where there is a lot of night life of every kind. you might prefer something more energetic like kayaking. The list goes on.

Almost everyone who comes to our resort, indeed almost everyone that comes to the Philippines comes here to dive. so let's start with that. Asia Divers is part of our resort and provides diving and training to the very highest PADI levels .Indeed we have every imaginable type of diving virtually on our doorstep. Drift diving, cave diving, shallow, deep, wreck,you name it. |

We also do diver training for people who perhaps have never tried diving before and want the experience right up to training to PADI Instructor level. Indeed we are one of only two schools in the entire Philippines qualified to this level.
With the family in mind again, we not only teach novice divers but we have courses for children to keep them involved. The 'Bubblemakers' course is for children of 8 years and up and at 10 a child can actually qualify as an open water diver.
Maybe you can dive and would like to try something new. We have Nitrox which is suitable for shallow diving and greatly extends your time under water. Trimix for experienced divers who want to go really deep. Re-breathers, so you can experience total silence under water and approach the life more easily.

Golf at Ponderosa.
Whilst it is not actually a part of our resort it is just 20 minutes away the and we do have strong ties with the Ponderosa Golf club. This is one of the most amazing courses in the world and is unique in it's structure to the Philippines .Situated on top of a small mountain, you need to make a phone call when a 4x4 will come and collect you and drive you to the club house. |
There you will get caddies, people to carry the cold beer and boys who are skilled in finding lost balls. A very necessary function since the fairways are bordered by sheer jungle. Each hole you play is further down the mountain so that by the end of play you are back almost at sea level. You can then elect to be driven back to the 19th. hole or going to one of the many bars and restaurant at the foot of the course. You can learn more by clicking this link.
