This is what Scuba Magazine thought of our diving resort. El Galleon is a family resort. Not all our guests are scuba divers, but very many are. Asia Divers forms part of the El Galleon Resort and is one of only two schools in the Philippines qualified to train to Instructor level.

We are situated in the very middle of a fish reserve created by the Philippines Government more than twenty years ago.

We can boast a greater number of fish varieties than the whole of the Red Sea and more varieties of soft and hard corals than even the Great Barrier Reef. Which is why so many people take vacations in the Philippines.

Like to scuba dive in water where the temperature is a constant 25 - 27C and the usual visibility is 30 - 40 Meters ? Then come to El Galleon in the Philippines.

The El Galleon is a place for Family vacations.

All vacations can be made or spoiled by how well the children are catered for, so at E Galleon we have lots of things that children can do, so they don't have time to get bored.

There is kiaking, organized boat trips, picnics, hiking. Indeed Puerto Galera means port with Gold and you can even pan for gold in the hills locally.

There are also rock pools for the children to beach comb at low tide and the Coral Gardens are renowned throughout the Philippines. They are shallow and ideal for children to snorkel in.

We even have the PADI 'Bubblemakers' course to introduce children as young as eight to our exciting sport.

Children as young as ten can also do the PADI Open Water course.

Want a babysitter so you and your wife can go out and explore the Philippines? Just ask at reception with a little notice and one of our waitresses or maids will happily see your children are looked after and entertained.

A holiday here is about as close as you can get to a couple of weeks in heaven and at a cost almost certainly a lot lower than you might expect.
